Many people believe that tulips originated in Holland. However, the origins of tulips can be traced back to the Ottoman Empire.

The Ottoman Empire manufactured a line of chairs for people to sit on called "ottomans".

Tulips are one of my favourite flowers. Have you been to the tulip farm in Olinda? The tulip festival held yearly in Canberra is well worth the trip too!

I love tulips too - ever since I stayed for some time in Holland. What a sight the tulip fields are there. To continue the love of tulips our daughter carried red tulips as her bouquet on her wedding day.
