I enjoy 23 Things program and learn about new websites. I particular like Google sites like Google docs - could be great way to collaborate with colleague. I also enjoy iGoogle and I use Google Maps to decide the best way to get somewhere ;-)

22. Web Base Communication Tool

I make MSN account and had go with Messenger but not interest myself. However, I can see real purpose for library as communication tool with clients!

21. Podcasts

I found interest podcast on photography! It good to know new things every day. I go to New York Institute of Photography web page and Thought on Photography.

18 - Library 2.0

I think Library 2.0 offer user many advantage but there also a lot of hype surround the issue. I think the challenge for library is to sort through the hype to create a service that is not only user centered (this should always be our goal) but one that saves time and is efficient for user. It will be interesting to see how these technologies develop over the next few years.

Delicious

I think Delicious good way to store link that won't fit Favourite folder. This way my link accessible everywhere :-) I enjoy looking at other people link as well.

iGoogle

I really enjoy customizing my own page using iGoogle. It real good way to place all the sites I use regularly on the same page. Very convenient! My iGoogle Link!

Google Scholar and Google Book Search

Google Scholar useful in term of looking up academic publication. I will definitely use site in the future as can see real benefit. I don't think I will use Google Book Search very much. But they both look ok and have some use.

Google Docs

I think Google Docs is really good way to share documents online. I might be able to use to collaborate on projects with my colleagues in the future. It could also be handy for study purpose when work on assignment with group members. This is applications I may come back and use in future.

Google Map

Tesselaar's Tulip Farm, Silvan

I find Google maps are very useful in term of locating the places that you want to know or going to. They have different options for viewing like satellite, map, terrain and street views. You should try out the street view as this is a very cool function. In this mode of operation, wherever you see the blue outline appeared and click on it, the real life street view will show. You can also change the viewing angle by using the two adjusting arrows located on the top left hand corner. Have fun!

MySpace and Facebook

I like Facebook more than Myspace. I found Facebook was easier to use. I think this technology needs to be improved before it can be used by libraries.
